I lost the bet .but at least I admit..there is a very important video on youtube that is live from the arena ..and you see it from a different perpective.. What was Strange that Kovalev didnt want to work at all from the inside and kept tying up Ward and was hesistant to throw the right he literally stopped throwing it and something happened straight after the third round ..Ward has a steely determination and probably Kovalev wasnt used to someone who wouldnt back down to him nor be bullied.. i had the fight 114-113 to Kovalev but after watching this fight ward in my opinion won 115-113 yes sounds outlandish but check out the video and watch the sneaky body shots ward was ripping into kovalev midsection. Sergey didnt want non of it and was fatigued during round 8. He had nothing on his punches i was very disapointed i was egging him on to fight more on the inside and attack more aggressively he just couldnt do it and adpat ,adapt..ward shut him down and out fought him...psychologically shut him down...I believe the rematch ward has got a good chance of stopping Sergey ..I am certain that Kovalev would admit that ward is more brutish than he envisaged....Beterbiev and Oleksandr Gvozdyk are the ones to watch out for they are dangerous.
I have seen that video and to me it confirmed that Kovalev actually won. It clearly shows how sporadic Wards work actually was.
