    Its all psychological when it comes to American fighters and thier fans. A close win quickly becomes a domination, a draw becomes a close win and a loss is a robbery. Then most people just except the opinion because they push it down our throught so much that ones memory gets distorted and opinion becomes fact. It is the false-consensus effect of boxing.

    yeah, except when you watch it and realise that it was a dominant win, if you any inkling how to score a fight at all.

    Sorry, I didn't mean in this fight but in general. This fight was a clear win for Ward. I should probably have stated that due to the thread I posted in.

    I don't know why Froch fans are saying the fight was close. Ward won handily. I scored it 9-3.

    It was a good competetive fight.. Ward took it clearly though. 9 - 3 or 8 - 4.

    Wasn't a clinic when compared to Toney/Jones or Calzaghe/Lacy...

    But a pretty clear win for Ward.

    :patsch Hurt his hand :patsch, can you make any more excuses for Ward looking gassed. What was it when he fought Bika?
    Froch fights with a damaged elbow, where he cant bring up his guard as high, its the nature of the sport. Froch went into Pascal with damaged ribs, ear trouble against Kesslera and I think ear trouble against Johnson, but his fans dont need to make excuses
