Anyway, Miss Willis, every fighter who entered that SS tourney made a sacrifice, to a degree. Usually fighters/promoters can choose their opponents and level of opponents, based on how they want their career to progress. Like Bute did, for example. Not so much in that tournament.

Moving up to LHW to take on arguably the top fighter there and top 3 p4p fighter, after a 2 year layoff and 3 decent tuneups, is also a sacrifice.

Most did. It wasn't the best format. Way too long and drawn out. But, it was a good concept. And I think served its purpose...eventually.

In terms of ticket sales or high viewership? Sure. But, not in terms of finding out who the best fighters were at 168.
