    pretty easy to say when your not the one with huge gashes opened up on your face, NOT coming from your opponents fist :roll:

    and kessler is a baby? riiiiight...

    you have ****in' dirrell, who falls over, cries and whines over every little thing in the fight, and then you have kessler who is getting held, headbutted and low blowed throughout the fight and hardly does any complaining. wow.... he was pissed after the fight, ya what a 'baby'

    well it bothers me that in boxing, heads clash with styles of fighters....that had nothing to do with anything intentional..he was kicking his ass with his fists the whole night...whts the point of risking cutting yourself with a headbutt? ****ing morons ...... and Kesslers fans had him the 2nd coming of christ for the last 6 years.....try again

    Ward also was throwing a lot of borderline shots... and a few just straight up low blows. If i was kessler i would have started fouling him back.

    But kessler only has himself to blame, he didnt adjust or do much of anything actually.... ward pretty much dominated him. The fouls were just insult to injury.

    Kessler seemed content to just complain about it post-fight. He knows its not his turf he's got to take matter's into his own hands.

    Easy for me to say behind a screen of course, but that was what had to be done.

    i agree but i just think its ******ed an internet poster sitting there calling kessler a baby, when no where throughout the fight did kessler overly complain, put on a show or try to get much of a break from any of the fouling that was done, unlike many other fighters that suffer the same treatment. then hes gonna call him a baby? the hell? :roll:

    ward fought pretty superbly.... hes going to be hard to beat throughout the tourny though i actually am interested in him vs dirrell to see how that will play out. damn i love the tournament lol.

    Ward should have had points deducted. He was constantly holding and hitting and leading violently with his head on multiple occasions.

    It wasn't the difference in the fight, though. Ward controlled the range beautifully, pot-shotted from the outside, out-hustled Kessler on the inside. Most impressively to me, he totally took Kessler's jab away by constantly whipping right hands back over the top. He's my pick to win the whole thing now.

    I don't believe Ward use the headbutts intentional, but when you look a the last headbutt and the way Ward uses his head as a third knuckle, he did certainly didn't try to avoid headbutts. The holding wasn't a factor, but it was still weird that the referee waited and then told Kessler to break or step back while Ward punched Kessler at the break, just a bad way the referee split the fighters regardless of who initiated the holding. I don't think any of the fighters tried to make the fight dirty that's the bottom line.

    That fight might have looked a lot different if it were in Europe

    That wasn't the second head butt. It was about the 10th or 12th, and the 5th one that was clearly intentional. The first one happened in the second round. Ward caught Kessler flush on the right cheek bone with the front portion of the top of his head. No way in hell was that an accident, and it changed the fight dramatically.

    Ward does not deserve to hold a world title based on what happened tonight. Personally I'm looking forward to the time when he runs into a fighter who will stick a knee in his face when he comes charging in with his head down. Forget P4P and ATG rankings, et, for a moment, and ask yourself, how would Duran respond to the **** Ward was up to? Can't ****ing wait to see it happen!

    It's one thing to point out the dirt, but keep it in perspective. Wards skillset was demonstrably superior regardless.

    The rule is pretty simple...give Cotto a clean fight and he fights clean...headbutt or clinch Cotto...and he'll toss your ass around.

    Visit Clottey fight and Urkal for more details :D:thumbsup

    He's going to run into his own poison one day...he'll meet his crazy ****er.

    Every elite fighter does. A fighter that simply doesnt give a ****.

    Mayweather = Castillo, Ndou, Augustus
    Cotto = Torres, Margarito
    Juanma = Mtagawa
    Forrest = Mayorga x 2
    Williams = Malthysee
    Khan = Prescott

    Everyone got their own opponent who walked in there with raging fists and a no-holds-barred attitude.

    Ward will meet his one day.
