and he didn't even beat Kessler the one time they did fight. he cheated.

A dirty win is still a win and is just as legitmate as a clean one. It might not be as nice to watch, and it certainly wont get you as much respect, but it's still legitimate.

 

He's accomplished way more that 3G and look at the accolades bestowed upon 3G. Until people stop talking up 3G, I'll continue to praise Ward. Ward wasn't even supposed to be in the top 4 of the Super Six tournament and won the whole thing easily. He, at Dawsons request, beat Dawson at 168. Perhaps it was a miscalculation on Dawsons part but, Ward did what he was supposed to do with a guy like Dawson. Ward rarely loses rounds, dominates his opponents and always comes in shape and to fight every fight.

big differencs for me..i cant stand ward, but like ggg, here is why...

ward fights once or twice a year...ggg fights 3-4+ times a year

ward uses defensive and sneaky tactics, getting every "up" on his opponent he can.....ggg uses skill and power to put opponents at mercy

ward gets a nice decision in his hometown everytime....ggg ktfo his opponents half the world away from his home town


ward is always making excuses, it dont matter the question theres atlast 3 excuses ward will bring up.....ggg dont have excuses, he says sure, why not..


ward is a very arrogant person who has a very irritable personality of being above ppl....ggg is very humble and a likeable guy, dont see him talking smack much..



there are plenty of reasons to like ggg more than ward, i just name a few...:deal

 

So let me get this straight, if a guy beats all his opponents easily, he doesn't take chances and all the guys he beat are bums and he knew the outcome before the fight and he handpicks his opponents and, according to you if a good fighter has a tough fight with one , known tough awkward fighter, he isn't that good. Just admit, Ward is the truth.:bbb

 

It's easy to look impressive against lessor opponents such is the case of 3G. Let 3G fight Froch or Kessler and I bet 10 to 1 the fight goes to a close decision and I'd bet my house 3G looks nowhere near as impressive. The level of competition really makes a difference on how well you perform in the ring. You must admit, Ward has faced tougher, more accomplished opponents than 3G,this fact is irrefutable.

This *** is only upset because Ward has eclipsed Calslappy at SMW in only a few years. I despised Ward until I started to defend him on this board from irrational haters. If Ward aint Elite, no one in the SMW division ever was
