Alright, plain to see you can't appreciate skill-full boxing and choose to ignore meaningful offensive assaults due to your own bias. Ward only hit Chad "from time to time"? Yeah, ok.

Dawson struggled to land 10 punches is 6 rounds after the 5. Ward is beginning to do things that are improbable and I like to be surprised by a fighters performance.

Dawson is one of the best defensive fighters in the game. He was still making Ward miss. Imagine anyone else hitting Dawson so much? Maybe pro wrestling is more your speed.

If that fight last night bored ya I don't know what to say but try to look at it from a non bias point of view. Yes it was one-sided but he came to fight and put a beating on Dawson I can't see what's there to critcize him of except only fighting in Oakland. Again, I highly doubt you want to **** him so personality shouldn't matter unless he does something evil like eat babies. He gets too much slack for fouling too. Ali held and pushed a lot but I don't her people bitching about it a lot on Classic. Fouling is part of the game and as a "true boxing fan"(not saying you aren't) you should know that.

Do you know how many assholes are some of the greatest fighters? Ya have to look at them as fighters which they are paid to do if you want exciting personalities then look at gangster movies and Attitude era WWE. Me for instance I've heard Monzon was cold-hearted but that doesn't stop me seeing what a great fighter he was. Personality doesn't take away their accomplishments in the ring.

Ward is facing anyone he can and putting on clinics while building his legacy I can't hate on the guy. Not like he's a "champ" facing old farts below his division and other blown up fighters. He's proving himself as a top fighter. Don't like his style fine he isn't the most appealing but to not respect him as a fighter is puzzling to me. He's one of our last hopes to carry this shitty era for boxing.

Apart from naming himself "Son of God" and shoving it down our throats at every single chance he gets that is...he's even got his own t-shirt line and theme song out on iTunes. Not only is he shoving it down our throats....he's exploiting Christianity to make money.

this is the actual artwork of the t-shirt and CD. check out the cross with the WBA belt and the gloves :rofl

Yeah because you know him personally:roll:

I don't get people, they hate him and his "personality" but they still put money in his pockets. Hate him so much, don't buy his fights.

Tebow might be sincere but in Ward's case, people will pick at any little thing just to criticize him. "Grown" people shouldn't act so damn childish like that. It's sad really.

Me too. And he fights whoever which is another plus.

    :dealGreat answer.

Told him to be objective. Hopkins got/gets this **** too so I think many of the same people project that to Ward. With fouling, most fighters do it and that doesn't change people's opinions of rightfully having him as one of the greatest fighters to ever live. The irony......

Ward is the current best thing. Not saying he's the best but he fights like the best. Feel sorry for those that are missing out and will miss out on him just because of idiotic personal bias.

"He's too Christian"- He doesn't shove it down anyones throat he's just happy with his religion. Don't seem to see people faulting Holyfield for this.

"He holds too much"- Holding is a part of infighting so you can position your opponent(Armstrong,Duran,Chavez) but at the same time he's still trading punches at a good rate. Not as high as the ones I mentioned but they held too. Ali held a LOT.

Well when you get criticized so damn much you have to be doing something right and Ward is the best young fighter boxing has to offer so far. Enjoy em while you can.

And Ward is the first to have a cross on his brands? People find the smallest things to criticize him, you would have thought he passed Ali with the criticism Ward gets lol.

Never seen this stuff and I watch every Ward fight I can. The first I know of it is on this relatively obscure website by some random poster. It's not being advertised in my browser. I don't see it advertised on tv or any of the little boxing podcasts. Your outrage seems really phony to me.

He's a complete fighter, very versatile and is great on the inside.

Him being a classy guy is just bonus. And i could give a **** less about religon, if thats what he believes in, then good for him; Absolutely no reason to dislike the guy for that.

But Ward's a Christian and part of that belief is that we are all sons of God.
