That would actually be a good opponent for Ward if he is able to get another fight in before Kovalev.

I don't think it happens but a good fight for Ward if it did.

 

The tune ups should be over with. I don't see what another tune up will do for Ward other than put $2mil in the bank.:think Just say you don't want to fight Kovalev instead of just asking for more time and tune ups.:verysad

 

Pascal will throw punches at Ward. I don't want to **** on Ward's win but Barrera kinda looked like he showed up to lose.

 

Why now are only Ward's fights only considered tuneups, did I miss something?

If that's the case, Kovalev has had a lot more "tune ups" than Ward. Maybe Andre should even the score on that. The fact is, another fight for either wouldn't hurt, to build more anticipation and fan interest.

 

Exactly, Kovalev faced in his last two fights fought someone who everyone knew he would easily walk through, and then against someone who already KO'ed before.

Mohammedi was a mandatory who had already been paid step aside money a couple of times, as for the Pascal rematch.... Yeah it wasn't great. but there weren't exactly a lot of other options for him on the table.
