Kovalev destroys Ward, very bad style match up for both men, but a little worse for Ward, in my opinion. He's gets stopped late.

:nut Based on what? I can absolutely bend my mind around the fact that Kovalev could stop Ward but how would he do it?

He is universally regarded as one of the best pugilists on the planet. No need to tell him what he already knows. I'm sure he has no qualms about fighting Kovalev once he moves up in weight.

Hasn't Kovalev been on the canvas more times than Ward?

K so you're saying he will 12-0 Ward like he did Hopkins?
    Good enough for me.

He outboxed and landed at will on BHop, Ward's shots won't hurt him and Kovalev is just elusive enough and fast enough to be able boucnce out of range and to counter Ward after he throws his jab and if Kovalev lands flush he'll hurt Ward, and Sergey is a far more skilled fighter than Smith and if Smith can land flush Sergey can land flush. It's not that easy to outbox Pascal and same goes for BHop, Sergey's skills are still being underestimated by a lot of you. Do so at your own peril.

Take away Kovalev's jab and he's basically disarmed. I don't think Ward will have any problem taking away Kovalev's jab...

He wasn't trying to you idiot, do you really think had Kovalev gone all out like he did in the 12th in Round 1 that BHop would have seen the final bell, if you do then there's something wrong with you. Jackson said in an interview pre-fight their objective was to outbox Hopkins. So stop it with this bull**** line a lot of you are clinging to. He KO'd Pascal when no one else not even Froch could, if that isn't evidence enough of his power then I don't know what would be.

    Lol.

Hopkins could see the openings, he just couldn't take advantage of them because he's a senior citizen and his reflexes are SHOT. However, despite Hopkins being 50 years old, he had NO problems making Kovalev swing at air ALL night. Ward, OTOH, will make the slow ass Kovalev miss AND he will make him PAY.

    Ward W I D E UDs Kovalev

I wish we could see what happens. Until then, I´m leaning towards Kovalev and KO win. I see a 50/50 fight skill wise but power will make the difference.
