Andre Ward: When people want to remind haters of Wards accomplishments they talk about the Super 6 tournament, his Olympic gold medals and the fact that he has never been defeated in any boxing contest since he was 12 years old.

When others want to down him they nit pick at his resume of fighters and the fact that he has been inactive lately due to injures and promotional issues.

Gennady Golovkin: When people want to remind haters of Golovkins accomplishments they talk about his current dispatching of the 160 division, his Olympic silver medal, and his amateur record.

When others want to down him they nit pick at his resume of D and C level competition and the fact that he is 34 years old and has yet to fight a big named opponent.

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez: There are only 3 other active fighters with a better resume: Ward, Bradley, Garcia ( not counting Pacquiao, Jones Jr., Hopkins or Toney). At 25 years old he has faced the best names in boxing thus far and has plenty of years to go. If he decided to retire this year his resume alone would be something to marvel at and his bank account makes me wonder why a guy so young would even keep fighting.

When hates want to talk bad about Canelo they talk about his choice of having catch weight fights and him not fighting GGG yet and... nothing else. Canelo has "0" amateur experince yet the man with damn near 10 years of it is begging, Tom Loeffler /K2, are begging for Canelo to make their guy a star in the same light that Mayweather did for Canelo by facing him win or lose.

There is only one living legend in this entire group here with one possible future legend (Alvarez). Fans like to bring up the amateurs lately as if that ****ing matters. The pros are were the bread and butter is. If the Ams were the cream of the crop then there would be no reason to turn pro.

There is no excuse for GGG spending his best years fighting for free and acting like it means something to some guys who have been pro for 10,15, and 20 years.:nono I pity fans boys who praise a guy who has kids now for doing that for so long in a third world country.

So that means when GGG brutally KO's Canelo....he'll be a future legend.:happy

Kovalev is the Legend Killer so he'll take pleasure in another iconoclastic slaying.:hey

At 155 maybe, but we both know that this fight ain't happening at 160.:think So let's not insult our intelligence by thinking that it will. Kovalev has yet to fight a guy that will tussle on the inside Ward is no dummy and you know that also.

I kinda got that but he didnt particularly did he... or if he did he took a dump on Ward too, and amateur boxing in general. Did he actually try to argue that Canelo is better than Ward and GGG cos he has more fans and (possibly) more money? This dude needs to think his trollin through before he starts typing.

So kinda 'the skills pay the bills' except ... not? Well, I can't argue with the fact that the ginger kid seems to have it made. Ain't really what I watch the sport for though.
