Ward is the new Winky Wright. He's proven he's excellent in the ring, but he'd rather be the undisputed king of the negotiating table now. When it comes to putting up delusional demands and claiming victory when the other side walks away, Andre is P4P #1.
Funny, people are hating on GGG again on a thread made about Ward when Ward could not fight anyone and was talking out his bunghole to get press and not be forgotten. In a way, its impressive. If you are a Ward fan, tell Ward to stop making ridiculous demands and actually look to make fights and fights will get made. Just because he won the S6 a few years ago and some journos hopped on the hype train over it doesnt mean he can dictate everything. At least not if he actually wants to get interesting fights.
I'm sorry, but the Golovkin hate on this forum has gotten so bad that it's almost, ALMOST, as bad as the hate Pacquiao is receiving after the May/Pac fight. Too much of it is on this forum. I feel like I have to defend the guy every second due to idiocracy in all the threads about him. FYI Golovkin doesn't talk about moving up in weight. It's through questions from the media or from his fans/haters. Finally, the difference between me and *****s/pac****s is I speak the on a factual basis and not biased hate/love.
He doesn't want to fight Andre S.O.G Ward for good reason, and that's because he nowhere near as accomplished or as good as him
How do you justify that when K2 approved Ward as an opponent to HBO, and Ward chose different fights?
Neither of those guys would carry the card by themselves against GGG because GGG is a draw. You don't even have the numbers to prove it while I do for Ward. And, yes. Golovkin would be B-side in all. But Ward is not Froch, Cotto, Canelo, Chavez, or Mayweather. Ward is a nobody right now. Golovkin would be a side in a fight against him. On Kovalev/Ward, neither are huge draws so it doesn't matter. Kovalev would still be interested. While Golovkin is a big draw which gives HIM a reason to not be interesting in Ward.
164, that's all we need to know about his wishes to fight Mr.Ward. He should be staying at 160 and keeping his mouth shut about Mr.Andre S.O.G Ward. If he wants that fight, move up to 168. If not, STFU!!! :thumbsup
ok xelloss......what ridiculous demands do you want ward to do away with? lol you want ward to not ask for the fight at 168? do you want ward to not ask for more money than david lemieux? lol
there isnt one person who can honestly look another man in the eye and say "k2 approved ward to hbo but ward chose other fights".....when clearly now k2 is saying theyll take a fight at 164 right? yet they were ok with full 168 back when ward was choosing other fights?
I'm surprised you're falling for a lot of the nonsensical **** that's being said. Kovalev isn't much of a draw either. He has major trouble filling up seats. Like his last fight which was embarrassingly empty. Ward isn't a draw either, it isn't as much of a factor with those two. They're "equal" in that sense. (Though Kovalev is a little better). Reason why they'd still be interested in fighting eachother. On the other hand, Golovkin is a big draw. Therefore, he has a reason to not want to fight someone who is a no-draw. See how easy that was? It took just a little bit of common sense. How do you guys not see this?
Golovkin gets hated like they do because he's popular. Floyd gets hated ridiculously too, I've learned to let it go. It's like arguing with a vacuum, or a lamp.
so lemme get this straight.....k2 was approving ward to hbo way back when "ward was choosing other fights"....which had to have been years ago right? so back then ward was clearly the a-side and k2 approved of ward? but now when the fight is apparently close to a 50-50 or 60-40 in favor of ggg they want a catchweight and want to unify? you guys have to be kidding.....how did they want the fight a couple of years ago when ward was active .....but now they dont want it when ward has rust and the money is closer to their favor?
