At the start of the super six many were suprised that Ward refused to travel, not only out of America for his super six bouts, but out of his home town. Like a spoilt child, he has refused to leave his hometown and has had both his fights at home, wheras Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Dirrell and Green have all fought on the road. Who gives Ward a pass?

So he beat Kessler and Green. Now, I thought Dirrell would beat him. But now that fight is off, although through no fault of Wards, or so we are told. I would not be suprised if Dirrell has been asked to pull out to give Ward the easy run. His last fight was Green and his next one will be some other nobody. This competition was supossed tp be the best against the best. But who the hell is Ward fighting? Allan Green and whoever Dirrell's replacement is?

I have to say he looked the bollocks against Green i dont see no one beating him in that form, I was quite impressed after that performance and it hurts me to say it, probably the best super Middleweight out there..

He fought and dominated the man who was favored to win the whole tournament, and who at the start of the tournament, was the best ranked Supermiddleweight in the world.

^^yeah, and even though green looked like ****, he was a top ranked super, coming off of stoppage wins might I add. either way, bika should have been in there. it is in my opinion that bika would crash through green if he elected not to throw like he did against ward. in the end the tournament won't be resolved until it's actually officially over anyway

The great thing for Ward is he has the opportunity to prove himself as one of the best SMW of all times, but he needs to take more risks. He got the talent, let's see how far he can (or wants) to take it. At some point he will have to travel, and I agree he has had many things going for him, but then again it's still only two men in the ring, and Ward has come out on top every time so far.

I think your over rating him there slightly. He has one high class win (Kessler). Calzaghe would beat him hands down, IMO. Also, I was sure Dirrell would beat him but they are too pally to fight.

Its not his fault if his negotiators are doin great things for him at the table, not his fault other people have pulled out of the tournament, its not like he's pulled out from anyone and yet he's still being criticized.

Well Ward beat Kessler and it was total domination and he still has to get through either Froch or Abraham and an unkown.....He has earned the right and if he wins will be regarded the #1 Super mid and will have done it the old fashioned way by proving it against the best available....you may not like or enjoy the guy but respect what he has done. Many would be on Kesslers nuts if he produced what Ward has.

Well if you wait patiently, that's what you'll get.

He's already faced the favourite of the tournament, and handled him with ease. After his next fight he'll likely face Abraham or Froch. Are they good enough for you? If not, then once he brushes them aside, he'll take on the much hyped Bute too. And guess what, he'll beat him also.

You may not like his style or the fact that he's had a bit of a home advantage in this tournament, but one thing you can't deny, is his exceptional talent. Ward is the future.
