Totally agree. Always nice to see a guy execute a fight plan perfectly and make the best of every tools he has. For a guy who is said to be un-watchable, I tought he threw a damn lot of straight right hands and left hooks to the body. He controlled the distance so well, Kirkland was never able to load up on his shot.

Every fights can't be Hagler vs Hearns. Some fighters do not have the attributes (power, speed) to box like that.

Don't know if you've realized this but out side of certain parts of the United States no one is really jumping up and down over future Bhop of Ward fights either.

The redeeming qualities Ward and Bhop do have though is they are harder punchers and are overall more technically well rounded.

Ward didn't beat Bika in your opinion? Shows how dumb your opinion is.

you probably didnt even watch the fight. The best I can see for Ward is a draw, but I scored it 7 rounds to 5 for Bika. If Bika wouldnt have gassed out in the last rounds, it would even be wider.

Bika won 4 rounds max. His wild awkward style gave Ward problems in the first 4 rounds bt after that Ward dominated and showed his class. You know **** about boxing and thats obvious..... and you are trying to say I didn't watch the fight?:rofl

Molina fought a smart fight it was quite messy at times but that was his tactic, he was worst than khan(vs Peterson) and some of his **** should have been corrected, he was leading on the majority of cards and that judge who had it for Kirkland along with the whole officiating was crooked as ****

I would compare his performance to Alexanders in Maidana...

Molina doesn't ever fight this way..so he gets a pass but as Alexander they knew they where going up against bulls in Maidana and Kirkland so they had to do something to negate the advantages of the stronger man..

Molina is a very technical dude, you can see how intelligent he is when he fights.... he makes up for physical deficiencies by being a very good boxer... Molina never really fights this way..

He is pretty Talented, but not in a Ward Or Hopkins way.. they have accomplished more IMO... I would say Molina can become champ in his division one day like Ward... but other then that He reminds me more of Alexander then an Elite like Hop, and a Great fighter in Ward.

Alexander is way better, more skilled, more talented more everything then Molina. Oh and Alexander has power to drop or stop guys with great chins yet Molina tee'd off on Kirkland's glass jaw and didn't put a scratch on it.

When a fighter knows he has no chance in a midrange slug out, his best options are the following:-

    - Close in fighting.
    - Keep it at range.

To keep it at range and be winning it would be an advantage to have better speed and footwork than the opponent.

To keep it close infighting and be winning it would be an advantage to have superior strength and bodywork.

Molina did what he needed to do to win.

I agree. There's no shame in not being as technically gifted as bhop and ward. I know molina is a good fighter and that this was a version of his style/ability that he doesn't normally employ as much (i.e. he has a lot of other facits to his game then "slip, lean, hold, hit, repeat". But maybe its just me but I've seen a few of his fights before and to be fully honest I don't remember much of what he did (style or substance) so other then saying he's never really impressed me I can't say much about his level of ability.
