Ward: I'll fight Froch in the UK

Difference is, I was watching the fight without bias goggles on. Watch the fight again and you'll see Ward was dirty. I'm not saying Ward didn't deserve to win, I just don't think this fighting skills are quite as polished as many think.

 

Showing that you have love or hate for certain fighters and are a fanboy.

No one got cut down on anything your just ignorant. You kept saying Froch didn't want the fight and Ward did when Ward was trying to fight other fighters and only now has he made an announcement after getting turned down by networks for 2 other fights. If those fights got made he wouldn't be fighting Froch. Froch on the other hand since the WBA mandated the fight had Hearn reserve a venue. You can't think clearly on this and have kept saying Froch doesn't want this fight even though Froch has said he is not giving his belt up. Now that Ward turns around after getting 2 fights turned down you act like he wanted this fight all along and anyone on here sees right through your BS. With the new news I as an objective fan am happy to see Ward make the right move of getting his career on track because he is a very talented fighter and will decision Froch for a career high payday. You on the other hand come on here spewing nonsense get it straight. There is a difference between fighting Froch in UK willingly and getting pushed into it because you couldn't get paid 2 million to fight LHW Oost or Perbian.

 

Second time around give Ward a paper bag to take home his glass chin after it is shattered.

Ward is one of the biggest bull**** fighters there is, hit and run point fighter, pitty pat nonsense. He has like 1 ko in 5 years. If Ward would stand and f#ckin fight Froch would knock him out there is no doubt.

Froch has wanted the fight in the place where it would make the most money and was calling out Ward for the fight to be in the UK.

If this fight does happen, Froch is not dictating anything. He must have fell a bumped his head.

Even though he can't even fill a 5000 seat stadium and Froch last filled 80,000 seats in the UK.

Froch still has his doubts about Ward figing in the UK.

“Don’t get too excited, I don’t think he’s going to come,” Froch told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.

“I think he’s found out that I dictate everything where Andre Ward is concerned because he’s got no TV coverage and he’s got no interest at all. He’s not boxed for three years and I’m still world champion.

Even though WBA mandated a fight between Ward and Froch, Ward was still trying to fight Tommy Oost a LHW but hey Ward likes draining down fighters.

I have heard that Andre Ward's return opponent might be Tommy Oosthuizen... Can you confirm that?

There has never been an argument only what you make up in your head. I just went over everything that lead up to Andre finally agreeing for the fight to take place in the UK. From him saying he won't fight in the U.K. To him saying Froch dictates nothing, to Froch calling on Andre to come to the U.K., to the WBA mandating the fight, and Andre still trying to fight other fighters instead of Froch. He only accepted to come to the UK because all his other fights that he proposed were turned down by networks. He wanted fight Tommy Oost and Perbian in May/June not Froch. Not because he can't beat him but because of his damn ego. I'm good with them fighting and Andre winning and getting his career on track. In the middle of everything you were making it seem like Froch didn't want the fight when Froch did just in the only place that the fight will have any value. It's about damn time Ward is going to the U.K. But even when Ward was trying to fight other fighters you were acting like he wanted Froch at that time. You don't try to fight the likes of Oost and Perbian when your next fight is mandated to fight Froch.

Just out of curiosity, who are you picking to win this fight? If its Ward does that mean hes elite? After all, Froch is the best fighter in the division. If you're picking Froch....do you want to bet?

 

By the time any fight will materialize, Ward would have been out of a pro ring for nearly two years. Over 3 years since a decent opponent. And 5 years since Froch/Ward actually happened.

He could come out and look like he never lost a step, or he could come out and look like a shadow of himself. We don't know what he's going to look like after such a long lay off. That's the whole point.

The only person who would bet on this fight, is a fanboy going with his favorite. There is no logic. Ward is a question mark. If he comes back and beats Froch, absolutely elite. But that's if, as is he needs to be treated for what he is. An inactive question mark.
