We will see if it happens. Froch is an old faded SMW, coming off 3 very tough fights, and Ward may see this as a good opportunity
Give me a couple of hours, I'm going to fly down to Oakland, talk my way into his mansion, convince him to go to the gym and train with me for a weeks, and than I'll be back with a full report on his progress, program his progress into my computer which has a formula that considers ring rust, natural aging process..etc, and only than will I provide an absolutely dead accurate prediction on his chances of returning to form in his next bout...whenever that may be. :nut
What a lot of fans should realize is that for this fight to happen Froch is going to have to concede a large portion of the money since it is a WBA mandated fight. Would any of the other big draws in boxing give up 75% of the money HELL NO! But he is willing to. To a fighter that has had his last 3-4 fights turned down and that has soundly beaten him and will again. The least Ward can do is fight where Froch wants him to. No matter what Froch will have the crowd on his side all this talk from Ward is him just being a *****. He needs this fight more than Froch does and it's the payday he has been waiting for.
So do we consider Ward claiming Wembley as a prerequisite before heading to the UK an unreasonable roadblock for him fighting Froch. Would Andre get a fairer shake outside of Nottingham?
Get shafted? You make it sound like they were all close fights in Oakland that could have gone either way. They werent.
It's possible he could of got DQed against Kessler for the head butting. He head butted him over 20 times and on purpose.
I didnt see 20 intentional head butts. I havent watched the fight in awhile but i recall 2 looking intentional, the rest he seemed to be leading in throwing punches. Either way he was clearly Kesslers superior in my opinion and a far cry from every fighter who went to Oakland getting "shafted".
