Ward is a beast Carl Froch is in for a beatdown..

That is pretty much my take. You need power to backup the boxing skills though or you are limited at the higher levels. YOU know I'd love to see Froch beaten, an American would be a plus , but I don't think it will be Ward. Especially if he becomes the mandatory and it is his next fight. His amateur pedigree was showing last night. Since Froch is a coutner puncher to some extent, I'd tell him to make Ward come to Nottingham, come forward through out the fight to take the belt. A lot of that 'slick' we saw last night becomes useless then.

 

NO ****!!!! Dude had Miranda in arm bars grinding his fore head into Miranda's face for damn near a whole round (I think it was 8 or 9)!!

When he wasn't doing that (diving in and locking Miranda up like he was in prison and on trial for murder), he was RUNNING in ways that made Dirrell look like a turtle.

Seriously, that was like watching a cross of HATTON vs Tszyu and DIRRELL vs Stephens.

Ward vs Green or Ward vs Dirrell would be a good fight and seems to make sense to me.

Americans seem to fail at SMW when they take on Europeans SMW champs so I would not be to hopeful about an American beating Froch or Kessler. Set your sights on Bute.

 

Ward better have a few more fights before Froch. Froch can't box for **** but he is tough as nails. Ward looked like he's lacking in the power department, he better hit the weights or something.

 

Normally Froch should be outboxed all night ! Froch will not be able to tire Ward because he has all the energy in the world to even last 15 full rounds if it was the case !!

 

Froch power is a lil above average in my opinion.. It gets kind of overrated a bit on here because of the taylor fight.. I believe Miranda hits harder.. Froch was getting totally outclassed by Taylor until he ran out of gas like he always does. Thats the only reason he got the knock out because he did not hurt Taylor at all during the fight and was landing some big blows here and there.. Ward would not fade like that and would win and easy decision like 9 rounds to 3 or 8 rounds to 4.. Froch is not knocking ward out...

Miranda has no jab or any strategy what so ever apart from trying to land the big right

Froch might look bad against ward for the first half but eventually break him down and tko him late on very similar fight to vs taylor.

Miranda taking ward the distance does not bode well for ward especially with ward having to hang on a lot which suggests he has stamina issues.

Fight wont happen anyway because ward is not a big enough name yet to generate the kind of money froch will be looking for.

Ward needs to fight at least an andrade or similar or more good supers before we can start talking about froch vs ward.

 

Ward looked to be in supreme condition against Miranda, but lets not confuse Miranda with Froch. Froch will make Ward fight at a much higher pace because he is bigger and will be cutting off that ring much more effectively, in fact there were even points when Ward was coming at Miranda. That would never work against Froch who is a counter puncher on top of being arkward.

Taylor's stamina issues didn't actually occur until he fought pressure/boxers like Pavlik and Froch. In fact i don't think Taylor would fade against Miranda either.

 

Much higher rate ???Its common knowledge that Froch is a slow starter ..And Ward can c om at the Cobra in any which way lets not act like he has a sound defense ..What Ward needs to worry about is Froch' power ..
