Ward is better than Calzaghe, would beat Calzaghe, and will soon be the #1 SMW ever.

:good takes one to know one. You can tell the majority of comebacks were used on him when he first used the forum. Trolls always lack originality

    Disagree.

Calzaghe's little flurries make his handspeed look better than it actually was. If they are boxing from range, Ward's speed for single shots is at least as fast, if not faster.

Calzaghe's inaccurate slapping flurries would not land on Ward, at all.

Calzaghe didn't adapt to Hopkins at all. He merely found Hopkins a more stationary, passive target as the 43 year old man tired. He would not have this luxury against Ward.

Calzaghe would not be able to land on Ward to "slap him about". Ward would outbox/outfox him from the outside or beat him up on the inside, at all stages of the fight.

Calzaghe just doesn't have the craft necessary to land consistently on someone with the defence and technique of Ward.

Wrong. Ward will not tire like a 43 year old man. He will land more all through the fight, and make Calzaghe look amateurish by comparison.

It wouldn't be close. I'd bet on something around 118-110/117-111. Mere "workrate" isn't going to be anywhere near enough against a prime 27 year old technician with stamina, determination and skills in equal measure.

This trolling is getting repetitive, so I'll just wait for a few of these short, boring posts in a row before I reply, saves time.

No offence, but you have ZERO credibility in boxing discussion on this thread after your humiliating duck out of a simple challenge, and subsequent embarrassing trolling to try and hide this fact.

Thus: Your opinion stopped counting some time ago.

Stick to infantile trolling, troll. :smoke

    :patsch yawn. :smoke:

They could fight right now and Calzaghe would still land more punches than Ward

 Have you ever seen Calzaghe or Ward fight???

Calzaghe throws inaccurate slapping flurries which rarely land flush, ****ing Enzo Calzaghe would admit he is a volume puncher who overwhelms with workrate.

I suggest you actually watch some video footage of these fighters in the near future. :rofl

He'd throw more, he obviously wouldn't land anywhere near as much. :patsch

Why dont you try strapping on a pair and posting something worthwhile then? Sure Ward may end up with a record superior to Calzaghe's but in a head-to-head he'd lose...
