lol Ward kicked Froch's butt and had a busted hand to boot. "beating of his lifetime" lol. I swear some of you guys should have your own show on Comedy Central.

 

I dunno about Froch but the inactivity will get to him. He didn't look that sharp against Smith IMAO.

 

Ward is a light heavy calling middle weights and welter weights.

He's just too high on the "reward" side of the "risk vs. reward" spectrum that all promoters, managers, and fighters take in choosing the controllable aspects of the boxers' career. He did a legendary feat for a 2 year tournament of 5 fights. It was great, but it was just 5 fights. And it's been a few years now. So he needs to step it up to live up to the greatness he seemed destine for. Frustrating indeed...

As for OP saying Ward took a beating in the Froch fight and damaged him, well, that's the biggest load of horse manure since the truck Biff drove into in 1955.

I wouldn't be to quick to say GGG is less dangerous than Froch. I don't blame Ward for wanting GGG, probably the easiest fight among the name opponents(Kovalev, Stevenson, GGG) to get back on the scene.

 

Ward had his chance to fight Stevenson at 175 or 168, but refused to even answer him. Duva has been trying to get Ward to fight Kovalev next year, but Ward will want 100% of the money, the fight to be in his home town, his referee, judges and a gun....................SOB Ward is overrated, why do you think that Ward will only fight in his home town? Ward was the ONLY boxer who did not have to travel..................for Ward's personal tournament.............................at that time, Bute was a good fighter, so Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his tournament, plus, Ward beat Kessler with an illegal headbutt, and it was intentional, even Ward's commentator's commented on it..........
