Is it hating to acknowledge that Ward's gameplan in the context this PPV was a trainwreck from the get go? Between the opponent selection issues, the delay in putting him on in the first place, and now this, it hasn't been pretty. Maybe zero of that is Ward's fault, but he's the most unlucky man in boxing if that's the case. If he ultimately does fight Kovalev, the fight just got pushed back to 2017.
Team Ward asked for 3 bums before Kovalev, so he won't be fighting Kovalev until he get those bums. Also, you guys giving him props for signing a contract, but the fight hasn't happened yet, and Ward could end up in court to get out of it. Also, dont get it twisted, Ward wanted just HBO, and HBO wanted Ward vs Kovalev. How I know you ask? Because doing 300k on BET isn't something you brag about...
