initially after watching ward fight miranda, i still wasnt overly impresses which was more of a shot at miranda than it was ward, ive personally never thought miranda was an elite fighter by any meand so i thought that win was blown out of proportion big time. The announcement of the super 6 came and i saw ward fighting kessler and i intitially thought this sucks becauses wards inexperience is going to get exposed and openly proclaimed that, and it sucked because from what have seen and heard from ward he seems like a good guy. Then i actually watched a couple of wards fights over again, and realized how talented and fast and technically sound he was be it as it may over limited competition. I also like kessler i would not say im a fan but i like him as a fighter, and after watching some of his fights again, i came to the conclusion that ward had a legit shot against him and that this fight was essentially a 50 50 fight, because both of these guys have styles that could work against eachother, simply depending on whom imposes their will. I had my concerns about kessler lack of fluidity in his movements and his inactivity against stellar comp over the last 2 years which should have been prime years for him. All this being said i stated on here today that i was going to reserve my judgement on these 2 guys till after i watched the fight. In concclusion i feel that it is apparent that ward is the real deal, hes fast, slick moves well, hes great and controlling distance and position and hes in he has a high ring iq, aside from lacking one punch pop hes the total package, kessler i feel has lost a step his timing doesnt seem as sharp as it did early in his career, now i still think he is a world champion caliber fighter but not quite the elite fighter he once appeared to be. I dont want to take anything away from ward by saying that about kessler because honestly if this ward fought a pre calzaghe kessler, ward still wins, maybe a lttile closer but he still wins. I think it is fair to say that ward is a special fighter and will easily win this torunament
