By calling out GGG how pathetic is this I use to really respect Ward but he is really looking bad in this.

The guy has not had any meaningful fights for 3 years and has recently fought paul smith.

Golovkin is focusing on his career the guy is not even a huge 160 fighter and ward expects him to drop all what he has going for him to give him the lifeline he is looking for which is to get his name back :patsch

Ward should move up to 175 and fight Kovalev

totally agree, Ward and his team know GGG would be an easier fight for him than Kovalev due to the size/style, theres nothing to gain in him challenging a smaller man apart from a good pay day, GGG is awesome but I personally would rather see him unify the division first, way more exciting fights for him, Ward would just shut him down and out muscle him (not saying GGG shouldn't be challenged but Ward is gold standard). The SMW division is so weak and has been for a while (considering Froch was considered no.2 and he was seriously limited) he should have made the jump after bute took his first loss. Kovalev vs Ward is way more interesting
