if your responding to me laudrup, i cant see your posts. so your basically talking to nobody if thats the case.
Just the fact that Ward won by headbutts and that most americans on here totally has forgotten this, in their praise of SOG.
Who are you and since when did girls start watching boxing? You obviously have to be one because you don't know anything about boxing. Yes, they stopped it because of a headbutt. And I know your main argument is, that if it wasn't for headbutts Kessler would have won the match. But, you have yet to get it through your little female brain that you are wrong. Kessler had no answer for Ward. You said yourself in your earlier posts that Kessler was behind 3-1 before your so called "intentional" butts. So you are saying that Kessler would have adjusted? (pardon me I have to laugh at that) Kessler has been exposed as needing to set to throw combinations and being flat footed. Ward just got in his flurries then hopped in close to offset Kessler. Ward did the same thing all night and each time had the same result, meaning Kessler just lacks the Boxing IQ to make adjustments (something your corner usually makes up for when this is the case). But, honestly you are convinced with your opinion so I'll agree to disagree with you Veronica (im guessing thats your name).
Read the thread, dude. Im not saying it WOULD have been different. Just that people needs to realize that Ward did commit foul **** to win. Kessler couldnt see from round 5. Thats all.
An INTENTIONAL headbutt is a foul not an unintentional one. But, again, you are in denial that these headbutts were unintentional. Unintentional headbutts are grade A certified legal boxing. So Kessler was beat fair and square. There! We settled it, that was easy.
You are blind if you believe that it was unintentional. Just like the ref, btw. As Ive stated earlier. It was very clear tactics from Ward and his team to move Wards head and body down and to his right, come inside and get the infight with Kessler. Everybody who knows boxing can see that it caused Wards head to clash with Kessler. Pure strategy from Virgil Hunter. Unintentional, my ass. Rewatch the fight and you will agree with me on this. Im certain.
This is what you fail to understand, If my strategy as you said is to "move my head and body down and to his [kessler's] right, come inside and get the infight with Kessler" and it causes our heads to clash once in a blue, then that means that the movement to the inside was intentional and the head clash was accidental. It would be evident that the headbutts were intentional IF EVERY time he jumped in he looked for Kesslers head and bang it with his own. But, we both know that this was not the case. He must have jumped in about a hundred times and the majority of them did not result in headbutts. Dude, just kick rocks.
I rest my case on this one. It was indeed intentional. And a setup from Virgil. Fair enough - Kessler didnt have any answer to it and looked stupid.
