isnt kessler wards best win? a guy calzaghe beat 6 years earlier and in his prime, not a half blind old version.

froch is limited, hes not great, he not even good, hes just got heart..hes basically rocky....and we all know how **** rockys record is.

 

This would be about as elite a contest as you could have. One would most likely be beaten but I find it unlikely that either would be schooled.

 

Calzaghe stylistically is all wrong for Ward.

He'd beat him on points, no doubt in my mind.

you make a good point but at that time, at least in the states, fighting calzaghe would have been about the same as fighting the other guys you listed. obviously joe turned out to be way better but i guarantee you at the time that no one was clamoring for a bhop vs calzaghe fight.
