Frankly I would prefer all the tournament fights to be on neutral territory but with that being said Ward kicked the **** out of Kessler fair and square and if you want to argue that Ward would have been DQd in Europe then lets argue why Brian Nielson made it to 40+ fights without a loss. European venues arent exactly known for their impartiality.

PS Irlandsk what is your avatar from?

Take the Bika fight out of the equation and i don't see the big deal here, Green could've been in a neutral vanue, but i don't see how it would've made any sense financially. If he doesn't fight away from here on, especially against opponents who are no longer the B side and draw big at home like Abraham and Froch then there's a problem, but i think people are going overboard a bit now. Comparing him to Ottke is just silly.

Yeah Ward is like Frisco both are World Champions :yep

I do think it's in Ward's best interest to fight outside of Oakland at this point just to shut his critics up :good

Ward was winning the fight fairly but he started lunging in with the head as soon as Kessler started timing him with the left hook in round 3 or 4, he should've been DQ'd for sure, I've never seen so many serious butts, 3 of them opening cuts, go unpunished. No need to bring Nielsen into this, it's like bringing up Tye Fields' inflated record, they both suck and are irrelevant to the conversation.

lol. Well-played. Personally, I think Ward is the best SMW in the world. The Kessler fight was a mess, and he got away with a lot, but he also legitimately beat the **** out of Kessler. And while fighting in Oakland is his right as the champion, it's not a right he should have in the tournament. Otherwise, Kessler should have had that right to begin with, as he was the top SMW in the world at the time. It should be an even playing field. And Ward looks bad by constantly getting the home-field advantage. If he fights AA in Oakland, it will look like the tournament's rigged. Even though he'd beat the **** out of AA no matter where they fought.

Now Now little fella. Don't say anything online that you wouldn't repeat
to my face, and trust me...................you would fetch my slippers if i
told you to. As for sauerland, they didn't have a choice in the matter.
Kessler had nothing in the spanner when showtime called his promoter,
and the money was right. Goosen already sealed the deal with kirshmann
before S6 was born. It's called boxing politics. Something you armchairs
    know **** all about.

Ah, the pathetic ESB keyboard warrior. It's a cliche at this point. I'll say whatever the f*ck I want to you online and you'll take it. Then you'll get up in the morning, in your slippers, and collect my garbage like you do every morning. Boxing 'politics' is for the kind of wankers, like you, who defend it. Kessler certainly had more leverage than f*cking Ward, who was a complete nobody.

I'll own you online or in real life son. Nobody is saying ward had earned the right and i wasn't defending that you *****. I was, however, correcting on
your call of sauerland mismanaging kessler when they had no choice. and boxing politics isn't for wankers, it's for intelligent people who understand it
so they can assertain the entire outline of the sport and business that is boxing. Sorry, that it's over your head....................you drunk fat loser brit.

Ward thinks he is a rich Republican who owns the world. Can he explain why the other fighters do not get all their fights in their home towns, with their referee & judges?
