Sorry I just didn't see that, but if someone have a link to the fight they could send. I would like to see it again now that you mention this.

It's on You tube. Arthur's tactics are the main reason I'm hoping we get to see an Abraham/Ward fight. Some of us were talking about this yesterday. Do you think AA would put up with Ward's bull****? I don't! I think Abraham, Pavlik, and a few others would make him pay dearly for the constant fouling! About the second or third time Ward came in low to set up a head butt, he'd catch a well deserved Knee to the face!

Totally agree. Its funny how people keep talking about the headbutts not costing Kessler the fight (even though they prevented Kessler from making a late rally like he did against Joe), but nobydy mentions the friggin clinches. Kessler kept telling his corner "I can't hit him when he keeps holding". Kessler should watch Ali-Cooper 1 and 2 and see how to deal with that kind of tactic.

I think all 3 first round fights already hurt the tournament quite a bit. On each occassion the home time fighter fouled at will with zero repurcussions. Abraham, Froch, and Ward did more than enough to justify a disqualification, but never even lost a point.

I've practiced quite a bit of martial arts in my time and this was my knee jerk reaction to the tactics of Ward. If somebody came in low on me like that my response would be an elbow or a knee... Still I think that the main problem was Kessler's inability to roughhouse Ward. It was Kessler's own fault. He lost the fight not adapting. Something we've seen before.

I agree that Kessler, given his experience, should have been able to put the brakes on Ward's tactics. I think there is an issue of tempermant. I believe it was Marquez who kept bending below AA's waist, and Arthur did in fact hit him with a knee. Taylor fouled the **** out of KP when he was trying to knock him out. In the next round Pav just beat the **** out of JT with elbows, shoulders, et. That willingness to retaliate comes natural to some people, and not to others.

Kessler has never been cut before. I am afraid these are so bad, that he could be stopped in the fights to come. Can you see Froch going for the cut ?

Kessler seems to come back a little strong in round 9 and 10, knowing he should go for a KO/TKO and all of a sudden they stopped the fight............A little controversy there ?

I hope that is not the problem for Kessler cause then he will never learn...

I know excactly what you mean though. Some people just won't take it to the street and some people will. It's weird.

kessler short comming where put on show against ward, he doesn't have a clue on insideing fighting and he can't deal with true elite hand and foot speed.
