fans for continually moaning about it. Ward won that last fight, he was battering ko4clev, outboxing him and beating him on speed and timing.

It almost makes me wonder if kovalev was paid to take a dive, such was the gulf in ability this time.

No one is disputing that he started to win. It's he reason that he SUDDENLY started to win that is extremely questionable and the Ref's obvious assistance in it. Feigning not to see a clear injustice strongly indicates a cunning selective blindness.

    BTW
When Golota did the same to Riddick Bowe there was a riot and I imagine that if you were there you would have jumped into the ring with the rest of the mob. Demanding justice while being unwilling to give it yourself simply because it now doesn't involve your race or the race of your preference is racist.

You are right. One does wonder whether Kovalev took a bribe and went right along with this garbage. After all, he did seem too calm after the fight and during the interview. Seems like one of those idiotic clearly fake wrestling scenarios where one wrestler loses clearly because of some crass, well-rehearsed injustice. They even had Mike Tyson as ref once sucker punching wrestlers so that the other guy might win and the fans cheering. A real circus!

It does rake in the dough in wrestling but I think that if true they are making a big mistake in trying to apply it to boxing since boxing fans aren't too willing to see staged bouts of that kind.

I hope you're not talkin about me. I live in Canada but I'm from Romania. What has race to do with it? Stop being so emotional. Its just a sport

Weeks ruined the fight with his inability to call fouls. Either way you look at it he stopped Ward from getting a legitimate comeback stoppage win or Kovalev possibly getting his 2nd wind and ending matters himself.

Haha nope. I've been watching Lucian fight live since his 4th pro fight. It was a good ride. Hope he retires though. And I've met him more than a couple of times. Great great guy.

Yeah, he had a good run as Super-middleweight champ and I thought he had a good chance of beating Froch going into their fight but it seemed to all fall apart during and after that fight.

In my personal view, race has absolutely NOTHING to do with the issue and I base my opinion on what happened and not on race as you are trying to indicate. Neither am I indicating that the motivation for this injustice was racial.

However, unfortunately, here in the USA race does influence behavior of a significant portion of the population in everything on a daily basis since it is a national cultural obsession and injustice is justified using race as a reason on a daily basis. That's why we have riots caused by what is perceived as racist injustice and you don't. The fight took place here in racist USA and not in your Canada so the possibility does come to mind.

Also, my emotions are irrelevant to the issue at hand.

As for your being Romanian and living in Canada, I don't see how that would prevent you from being anti-Russian. After all, Romania was once forced to be part of the Soviet Union and there are many resentments over injustices that Romanians harbor against Russians.

So your fairness in this issue is suspect based on you being Romanian in relation to a Russian fighter alone.

I once paid 54 USA dollars to watch a fight on pay per view and all I got was the American referee constantly interfering with one fighter so that the other could win. I have never paid to see a PPV fight since and never will again.

i blame the gutless fanboys who worry more about their ego than the truth. they are the only reason corruption can go unchecked. because no matter how blatant the corruption, theres gonna be a gaggle of scrubs defending it tooth and nail in order to spare their feelings. no need to defend a crime when you got an army of nitwits who will do it all for you.

    1. Kovalev - Was skillful enough, was powerful enough but wasnt discaplined enough and wasnt fit enough to go a number of rounds with Ward.
    2. Weeks - Knows the rules and is paid alot of money to pull them apart when they wrestle and look for low blows and elbows yet didnt manage to do either.

Ward, i am far from a fan of Ward or his team but ANY Boxer and his team will take ANY advantage they can and to be fair you cant beat people like Kovalev and all the other huge names he has faced with just dirty tactics you have to have serious ability too.

You were talking about race. I wasnt implying anything. Did you really thought I'm black because I said Ward was the better man.

Oh and I dont like Ward and I like Kovalev, but I still have to call it like I see it. Just as I did after the first fight, when I said loud and clear that theres no way that in a close fight all judges come to the same 114-113, last 6 rds only one gave Kova a rd, without some funny business involved.

Kovalev should've based himself in Montreal, sport a Canadiens hockey jersey, say two times ' Bonjour comment ca va' and he would've had really strong backing from Canadian fans

And I appreciate that you know history, I hate what communism did to my old country, but I dont blame Russians for this. We're in 2017 and the last 27 years of " capitalism" we're equally destroying, getting inside the EU was a bad move, it destroyed whatever was left of the economy so we import stuff from Germany, Netherlands, France, etc
But I dont hate westerners for this F up situation. Our corrupt trecherous politicians are to blame.
