Guys can argue what this means about Ward or Golovkin. It dont matter. The real loser here is Kovalev. I still have respect for Kovalev and want to see him and his family eat well. This likely means he fought for peanuts in comparison to what Ward made.

All of you are right that Kovalev or we should say his manager Klimas accepting zero guarantee and only a percentage of buys got ripped off by Main Events. Does anyone know what Kov's take of this was? About only $1 million? But let's acknowledge that Roc Nation paying Ward an outrageous $6.5 million was even stupider. This outfit is going bust and will be forced out of boxing promotion fast!

And yes this shows that Golovkin is a much bigger draw than either Ward or Kovalev, and K2 and his handlers have done a great job.

But the big loser continues to be boxing. PPV for anyone other than Mayweather, Canelo, or Klitschko just limits the audience to the smallest possible ghetto, and makes the future worse.

 

I'm a big Ward fan but that stoppage was bull**** for sure, your opinion is fair to me.

Alright I'll check it out Bro, Well I'm abit biased coz I'm a big Ward fan, however I can clearly see that was a absolutely poor stoppage.

In regards to the low blows I'm glad he did it, kovalev was saying he was gunna break Wards arms, he said he is gunna end his career, his fans were saying Ward might get killed like one of his other victims so I don't wanna hear no crying about low blows. Ward did what he needed to do and I loved every second of it. I think Kovalev should have whacked him right back in the balls coz if someone is dirty you have to make them pay if the ref wont.
