Well then you are just way too biased. The first fight was as competitive as it gets and Ward will tell you that himlself. I thought Kovalev won that one myself and many people did, not just the usual suspects on this board but everywhere. I mean I can say the other usual suspects had Ward winning, so doing this won't get us nowhere.

You are saying the first fight didn't give any indication of a competitive rematch, and not even the "usual suspects" on Ward's side will say that or that the rematch wasn't interesting or unwarranted. So you are just an extreme point of view that isn't the norm and doesn't represent most people, even Ward fanboys. When it comes to sales projections, extreme points of views such as yourself are not what determines demand, you are an outlier.

And again, top fighters like Mayweather and Tyson who were matched against fighters people knew they'd beat STILL sold.

You are wrong on both of your points:

1- You thinking mismatches don't sell.
2- This being a mismatch in people's eyes and thus it didn't sell.

The second point, almost nobody in the world believed that. I can't believe you actually think they did. You can't be taken seriously with such bias.
