Ward Looks HUGE! Kovalev starts sounding afraid.

Ward is slightly taller, Kovalev is generally bigger.
I always favour height and reach.

 

Ward been putting in that work with mackie....maybe hw ain't so crazy if it were the right guy

Yeah, the right guy is the key, just like Roy, he picked the right guy. I don't think that will ever have the size to challenge the big power houses at heavy so for me it is pointless to even go there. Holyfield was a different animal but the top heavies are even bigger now than when he was fighting.

 

Tale of the tape had Ward listed at 6'2" during the super six.

 

If he's bigger, that likely hurts his movement and makes him a sitting duck for Kovalev.

That's not good for Ward.

We know Ward doesn't have any power to bother Kovalev. The extra size could help him to wrestle on the inside, but the extra bulk also would make him slower and become a more stationary target.

More mass is likely to hurt Ward, not help him. And there is no extra workout to help a chin become stronger.

 

Guys, Andre is wearing lifts. You'll see Kovalev as the taller man at the weigh-in IF they are in bare feat.

Kovalev looks really good. Like he trained himself into strapping, lean, powerful shape. He made a nice cut and will rehydrate into a strong bull. Ward is getting knocked the F out.

Ward is an American gold medalist, half white man and i like him a lot. Wish him well every fight, but he's getting beat like a dog on Saturday night in the late rounds.

Im so so so pumped for this fight.

 

I just watched the video on youtube and nah you're lying lol, both are about 6ft, certainly not any more, infact wouldn't surprise if they are both 5' 11 1/2 in socks. Ward appears barely an inch taller, different shoes this time maybe.

Kovalev has a longer reach and gets more extension on his shots anyhow. Ward does look big though. Will be interesting to see the size difference when they're in the ring.

 

I think Ward can run and he will run. But he cannot run all night, and he is getting broken down and stopped

 

Ward could not hurt Brand at all, not even once and Brand did land some punches on SOB, Kovalev is a lot bigger, stronger, quicker, straight punches, fights the entire fight, has the power, Brand was a midget................
