Ward looks like a cruiser

Once he isnt teaching them how to headbutt, punch guys in the nuts and hug them all night then its okay

He said he had a hard time making 175. And he last fought nearly a year ago. Makes sense for him to be at 200, which he looks.

 

I get he’s not your cup of tea and unfortunately a lot of boxing fans tend to define careers based on a fighters flaws. It’s human nature. He’s more than a headbutter or nut shotter. Lol

 

If Ward had the confidence that some of his more deluded fans have he'd have already gone up to CW and schooled those "basic bums." Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis. Ward isn't an idiot though... He knows what the outcome of those fights would be, he'll only fight above LHW if a fight with Bellew can be made at a weight he and his handlers deem fit. Reward has to match the risk.....

 

His real Gems came when the camera was turned off. Expect Shields to turn into a elbowing, wrestling billygoat in her next fight!

 

I’m curious when has Ward described Usyk, Gassiev and Breidis as basic bums? Why does Ward have to fight them anyway he’s retired. Not appreciating Ward as a fighter is fine but attempting to downgrade his achievements by fashioning impractical and unnecessary hypothetical matchups with dominant cruisers seems like a desperate stretch. He could likely do it however it wouldn’t be because he needs it to solidify his status. The only reason you’d want to see it is because it would probably lead to his demise.

Why does it hurt so much to see someone who’s built comfort, confidence and balance in his own skin and physical temple? I’m not sure how some of you guys function with such a heavy burden of paranoia and hate strapped on your backs. For the record the gentlemen you mentioned above are far from basic though I don’t believe any of them have reached the level of boxing cognition that Ward currently houses. Will they get there who knows only time will tell.

 

I've never suggested any of the above. The post I made was in response to posts made in this and another recent thread that suggested that Ward could go up to CW and not only beat those guys but with ease.

 

Wards looks like a small Cruiser weight and a massive ****. Both begin with C.

Oh I’m always thinking it’s my burden....I’m willing to admit my faults but it would help if I saw something with Ward saying those cruisers are “basic bums” maybe I’m missing something here.

 

It's in response to what OP and others have said in the thread NOT Ward himself.
