"Champion Emeritus"? I suppose the point of this is so they can have somebody else grab the "Regular" title for another sanctioning fee and more brown paper bags stuffed with cash.

All we get as fans is yet another nearly man proudly proclaiming themselves as "World Champ" when they are anything but.

I believe it means that Andre Ward has been "promoted" by the WBC to their made up title of "Champion Emeritus", thereby making the regular title vacant.

No it means he's been stripped of the belt be because of how inactive he is. But because it's because of injury and how dominant he is only a handful of fighters have been given the acclaim.

So who ever the champion is when ward comes back they will order purse bids 60/40 in his favour

Jose Sulaiman developed anal warts from being sodomised by an elephant seal while on holiday many years ago. I just want to say that he deserved it.

Funny that Bika vs Periban has just been made eh? So basically give a Mexican a shot at the 'title', if he loses Bika will probably face the newly ranked JCCJr next.

    Pieces of ****.

Dawson kinda forced it himself by saying on worldwide TV he'd go to 168 to fight Ward, big mistake if you can't actually make it!

Bika vs Periban for the title, winner faces Chavez. Ward defends his "emeritus" title against a top 25 guy in his 'comeback'. Ward then fights Chavez for the WBC belt & moves up in weight after

    Probably

Bika is already fighting Periban. They can sanction this fight for the title since one is ranked #1 and the other #4.

What's happening with Degale? I thought he was meant to be fighting more regularly. Couldn't he get on the Fury undercard?

Bika beats any of the top 5, plus Chavez Jnr if that's the point of this...

Bika vs Groves will be a good fight, have to go with Bika though he looks liked he's becoming more technical, he will definitely test Groves' chin
