Refusing to make eye contact, looking down incessantly and the non stop rocking back and forth on his feet are all signs he was scared ****less.

Nothing nervous about Ward or Kovalev. Ward initiated the fight so why would he be nervous, as a matter of fact, Ward is never present at a Kovalev fight but Kovalev shows up at every Ward fight. Take it how you want to but there is no nervousness. Ward is extremely confident in his skills and he does have the skills to win. Kovalev can win as well but his win is more dependent on his power.

To me it looked like two top level fighters who respect each other, no need for bs. This fight should sell it self, two top 5 p4p fighters.

It really does not matter how either looks before the fight only how they perform in the ring. There have been fighters who have looked frazzled before fights and have come in to dominate or show impressive performances in the ring.

This is his usual reaction. He was looking down at his feet with Brand before round 1. Pretty sure he wasn't nervous then.

Kovalev has always had immense respect for Ward. He knows is it a massive step up for him. Neither have ever trash talked and always been respectful towards each other.

If you think Kovalev is blasting Ward out think again.

They don't need to be obnoxious and get in each others faces and start yelling and all that. They both agreed live on TV they would fight next and they showed mutual respect for each other. Boxing is supposed to be a gentleman's sport.

Just because Kov is showing Ward respect doesn't mean he'll pull
back in the fight or not fight his best fight ever. These ESB trolls
which make up 98% of this site DKSAB or competing in general,
but based on the last few years and KOv's style I say he beats
Ward convincingly. To heck with all the BS as I can see thru that.
