He is now my top 1 p4p not on skills but on resume: Froch, Kessler, Kovax2, Dawson...I give Andre all the credit he deserves, I respect the official decisions. With that said, I think boxing isnt fair, tonight we saw Rigo "knocking out" after the bell an opponent, the referee didnt do any 8 count, he cant DQ Rigo because this is business, this is money involved, Draculich asking everybody like if he didnt know what to do was a farce. Uzcategui hits Dirrel just at the bell and got DQ with the comentators saying it was clearly after the bell, today Paulie was criticizing Flores for being an actor. Kovalev got robbed in the first fight, got robbed in the second, you can see here the solar plexus punches claimed by Wards fanboys This content is protected I have no problem with Ward, he is a very skilled fighter who have beat the best when he was at supper middleweight and then comes from innactivity to win the belts at light heavyweight against one of the most devastating puncher in this century. The worst thing about him is that he is awful to watch, like a featherfisted Wladimir. But man, boxing is so corrupted, we get that kind of controversial **** every weekend, the rules are not applied the same with differents fighters in differents places, boxing has to change, they need to ban it in Las Vegas, each time we get a fight there it sucks. If we dont get this changed, MMA will replace boxing as the most popular contact sport and Im sorry to say that but MMA is most of the times a circus
As Lampley said recently, boxing is the theater of the unexpected. I was thoroughly entertained by this fight, and by the entire card but it was highly controversial, the Rigondeaux fight certainly set the tone for the main event. Full of controversy, but it was a memorable and thrilling night of boxing.
Not on skills, but on resume? Please think about that statement for a second. How else does a fighter prove his skill, if not through resume? And since when is a punch to the solar plexus illegal? Thanks for letting us know the finish was perfectly legit.
Just my thoughts, I think Loma for example is far more skilled, but thats subjective, the resume is more important. Did you see the image? Do you see where is Ward left glove at? I was being sarcastic
