you dont have to knock people out to win fights you know, whether or not kessler gets hurt is irrelevant. ward can still box his ears off for twelve rounds regardless if he gets hurt or not.
Very true, but it's not just about KOs, it's about being able to get respect. Ask Paulie Malinaggi if his career would have gone differently with the ability to break an egg. DF, I watched the fight live and just double checked youtube to see if I had missed something. Ward lands a really sweet counter uppercut midway through and finishes with a flurry that Miranda blocks. He buzzed him but didn't have him hurt badly. So I take back my statement about "never" getting his attention. Good call. :good
plus, the punches you dont see coming are always gonna sting the most. this is going for both fighters as they both have exceptional countering skills, all though i think wards is better. you dont have to be a powerful puncher to knock someone out with a perfectly timed punch with alot of weight behind it, ask jake rodriguez when he fought pernell whittaker
Very few posters on ESB know this. You are either a fighter yourself or pay very close attention to boxing.
I have a feeling it's going to be very very close . . . but I had it the otherway around . . . Kesller via SD.
