Personally I would love to see this fight. Would love to see how ward deals with Hopkins movement and if he could be effective inside where Hopkins knows so many tricks.

I am slowly becoming a Ward fan, he showed real improvements in technique in the Froch and Dawson fights. Would be interesting to see what tactics he comes up with.

I hope this fight get's made but I just don't think Ward is big enough of a draw to create the cash required for Hopkins to take such a tough fight. Ward is clearly the big favourite and has the speed of hand and foot to give Hopkins all kind of problems.

Actually he said in an interview when asked about a catchweight or to bring Dawson down he said "Nah were going to bring him down"

    Wonder why

Dawson should have kept his mouth shut, or asked for a catchweight from the very start.

Ward did what most boxers would have done in his position.

I would watch it. I doubt if it would be a fan friendly fight but I would definitely watch it. I hope it happens

If Ward wants to stay at 168 lbs, fine, I dont have a problem with that, but if he's going to take a fight at 175 lbs, at least take on a real challenge. Dawson is still the man at 175 lbs, Hopkins is well below him.

As for who would pay? I dont believe the first fight was PPV.
It would have to be an HBO or Showtime subsriber card.

If Hopkins beat Ward, he would be the greatest of all times.

Ward will fight Hopkins in his home town, with his personal referee and judges, as usual. Let Ward fight Kovalev.................

He shoulda fought the guy who beat Hopkins at 175. Making Dawson come down was pointless. Ward probably waiting on Chavez Jr to move up so he can make some real money :yep
