Of course he was expecting to lose which is why Kellerman pulled him up about it,Wards been boxing for god knows how long and as such he knows when he's won and when he's been beaten,I've always given Mayweather credit for rematching fights he knows we're either close or that he maybe felt he'd been beat. Put it this way if he'd never been down before then how could he claim the Kovalev wasn't the hardest puncher he'd faced, doesn't make sense? At least him and Virgil know that in a rematch Kovalev could have two 10/8 rounds and still lose as the judges would discount any of his 10/9 rounds?
Totally agree. Even while everyone was booing after the fight he was saying that was the crowd saying he won. Then saying it was close and it could go either way but he got the nod so everyone should accept it. Then when asked about the scoring changing the subject to God his saviour. FFS, Christians aren't supposed to lie.
Ward needs to stop the bull**** . Real Talk . We all witnessed his first loss sat night and it was a clear loss .
Jeez don't hold back mate. Laughable claim by Ward though didn't see or can't remember the Miranda fight did he get the rub of the green in that fight as well.
Ward is my least favorite boxer. Time and time again he opens his mouth to remind me. His style of fighting is bad enough, but his ego is even worse.
Nothing to see here. It's like those fighters who say the hardest puncher they faced isn't the one that hurt them badly or knocked them out cold.
Ward is a liar...................................there is a rematch clause and he will be sued if he does not fight............Ward lost the fight and was badly hurt..................
Exactly. Just more proof why we shouldn't give too much credit to what pro boxers say about who was their toughest, biggest punching , smartest, etc opponent. Seems like most want to give the most credit to the opponents that makes them out to look the best.
