Ward beats GGG at any weight at any time in dominating fashion.

Dawson said he would have no problems making the weight and agreed to fight. He called out ward and thought he would be easy work by him being the naturally bigger man he was wrong.

team dawson later actually approached team Ward about doing it at a catch-weight of 170, 2 lbs above the SMW limit. But Team Ward refused to budge saying that the fight could only take place at 168 or not at all

so basically they pounced on a comment that was said in the heat of the moment

One thing that's funny to me is how people keep saying Ward and GGG are the same size yet now that the catchweight is put out (which is BS don't get me wrong, I'm not defending that), which is more than what GGG can make comfortably, they start throwing a fit.

Again, where is the proof that he was forced to say "I'll fight at 168"? Where is the quote from Dawson saying "_ forced me to challenge Ward at 168"?

And I read Serge's post. Like one of the guys he quoted said "'nobody told his dumb ass to try and get down to 168".

These guys are grown men. They are accountable for what they say and do. Dawson could have easily went about his business at 175 but he made the choice to open his mouth and challenge someone at 168.

Put it this way. If you're at work and your client/ superior asks when you can get something done for them and you say "Monday" then that's on you. You can't then get mad if you ask them if you can push it back to Friday or the following Monday and they tell you No. It's unprofessional and its your own fault for over committing.

Be honest to your fans he says.

This is just one proof of how he wins. He refuse to fight outside of his home town. His managers choose to ref and the judges. He is talking to fight at 175 but when good challenge comes he says he ´s too small. What a ****. He walks at +190 and he wins his fight because of his size, dirty tactics and politics. His punch resistance would be zero if he had to fight guys of his own size. Ward is not what he pretends.

So let them face at 164. They are the same size - either will get any advantages.

    :good

But hey, since people love cherry picking quotes from Dawson and GGG and ignoring the context or situation, maybe the real question is what happens when Andre is held to the same micro-scrutiny? When will he be moving up in weight?

Not for Kovalev, mind you. No, Andre should be prepping for his move to heavyweight soon, whereupon where he can face, and beat, Klitschko.

Why should ward lose 2 pounds vs ggg if ggg was willing to fight either chavez or froch at 168 pounds? You just said ward struggle to make 168 but want him to be drain like oscar?:lol::lol: And i read serge post and i find it funny because it doesnt change the fact that dawson wasnt forced at anything which it was his idea not ward to fight at 168 pounds. All i hear from dawson that he can make the weight very easy.

I don't understand the "more than what GGG can make comfortably" means. How can someone not be comfortable being allowed to weigh what they normally weigh for a fight.

GGG doesn't have to come in any heavier than normal if he doesn't want to.

Boxing_Master you want ward to lose 2 pounds vs ggg but want ward to fight at 175 poundd vs the dangerous puncher? If you want ward to fight ggg at 164 pounds? then should it be fair for that dangerous 175 pound fighter to fight at 171 catchweight vs ward??
