Yes, he absolutely should. It was fun saying "VIVA CANELO!" for the second time, I want to do it a third.
Ward by UD prime for prime. Ward now is retired with a serious injury, he doesn't even qualify as an opponent anymore and can't be judged accordingly.
Alright! The fighters that you mentioned their names above can be a very tough test for Canelo I have to agree with that. But I still think that none of them can beat Canelo. The one that I think can make a great match up fight against Canelo and beats him is Butterbieve (not sure about the spelling) at 175.
Maybe you are right maybe you are wrong but my firm view is that these fights have to play out. I am a big fan and admirer of Canelo but I am not going to go overboard either saying he is unbeatable when I know that is not the case.
Canelo at this stage bears Ward convincingly. Ward has been out for what? 4 years or something. Time has gone, Ward is a commentator, Canelo is king bear of the jungle, hunting his next meal.
Canelo right now is far superior an opponent than Kovalev was for Ward when they fought back in 2017. I don't see how you could possibly think Ward (who was an elite fighter in his day) would win this. Ward is done and Canelo would only get ripped for fighting him. I know these retired fighters that theoretically COULD come back love having their name in the news because it makes them feel like they are relevant but the truth is Ward isn't relevant anymore and Canelo would box his face off. Prime for prime is a different story, but that is a fairytale so who cares?
Canelo beats Ward and pretty decisively too I think. Been a min since Ward has competed professionally and coming back after that lay off to fight arguably the best in our sport atm wouldn't be a great move
