I mean, I don't think he has a lot of other options. Maybe he could fight Dawson at LHW.

Agreed. Pavlik is the last 168lbs fight for Ward.
(Not interested in the rematches w/Froch/Kessler)

I'd love to see him come to Europe and put on another show for all the marbles (Kessler-Froch winner)

If the winner of the Kessler and Froch fight can win in impressive fashion then I'd like to see a rematch with Ward.

At this point it seems like the only purpose in rematching Froch would be to appease butthurt Brits on internet boxing forums. Not much left at 168.

This is why I want to see him beat Froch again. Some of these Brits make it seem as though Froch has some magical powers when he fights at home. I keep reading this nonsense about "the Real Froch" and how Ward should "come to the U.K.". Ward would beat Froch in any country in the world. Deal with it, folks. Ward > Froch, period.

Why should he move up? LHW is a weird division with phoney champions and a half retired Hopkins Jr..

What legitimate options does he have for LHW bouts? Gabriel Campillo, Bernard Hopkins Jr., Chad Dawson, Nathan Cleverly? Those fights aren't happening for a variety of reasons.

If money and talent and fame were the goals then he'd be looking at catchweights and MW fights. Quillin, GGG, Martinez, Chavez Jr. more money/prestige/difficulty.

I'd rather see him at SMW and get bigger money fights with Dirrell, Froch, Bute, and Kessler.

Remember he just beat Chad Dawson, unless Hopkins Jr. agrees to a fight (which won't happen) then there is literally no incentive in any category for him to just "move up" which is assumed here as the be all and end all of boxing careers. He's sweeter at 168 and 160, so going for broke at LHW which is a division in dissarray is simply going to reduce his image in the boxing world.

Yes, all of them do. Martinez and Chavez Jr. might look for bigger money fights but they would put up with 160/164 pd. limits in order to fight Ward if that was the sweetest deal they could make.

There's no question GGG and Quillin would fight him even at 168. It would be HBO and pay nicely.

This. Hate it when people say Ward wouldn't fight Froch in England etc, if anythin I see Froch bein more aggressive and bein countered more, I think some people think he can fight against Ward like he did Bute

Froch does have magical powers in the UK. He has biased everything and his own Ref to stop the fight if he lands a flurry of slaps. He's like that slapping UK joke Joe Calzaghe.

    Been there, done that.

Seriously, why should he move up if he can easily make 168? Rule the roost if he can.
