Make Sergey furious and come after him, exhaust him early

Repeat at the start of every round

By the 6th Sergey should be spent

Then get up close, stick in the head as often as possible (and as many Oakie blind low blows as possible)

An exhausted Kovalev getting constantly headbutted may well not get off his stool

That would be my advice to Ward if i were his trainer

I really don't think that would matter to him at all.

After like 3/4 rds of being tagged by Ward & held then warned & ultimately disciplined (Point deduction) for trying to push Andre, Kovalev's will shall decrease when he can't do sh*t about it or get any type of rhythm going. *Rinse & Repeat for 12rds

By the end of round four, he will be on the canvas unconscious sticking his tongue out at Kovalev in any case.

I don't see Kovalev being bothered by anything like that,no I think he'll come out and box as rushing in would favour Ward,as much as I rated Froch it was his real weakness, rushing forward come what may?

So basically you're suggesting ****ing off Kovalev and then fouling him until he retaliates and begins to lose pointa due to home ref?

Can't see any other way for Ward to win

Sticking the tongue out will be Ward's key to victory..... unless Kovalev does a Marciano and bursts the blood vessels in Andre's arms

What if the ref is not an Oakland special and is actually there to do his job? Ward might get a point deduction himself.

Oh ok I have to confess that I missed that, thing BHop was on another level when it came to taunting, look what he did to Pascal with the press ups,it worked a treat with Pascal fuming and unable to execute on the night, still look where it got him v Kovalev,I think if that Kovalev turns as appose to the one that beat Chilemba then Ward is for problems,I think Ward is half the guy he once was but even still he'd of out done Kovalev on Chilemba night?

Andre would never accept the fight under such circumstances

If Ward wins, this is how he'll do it, imo.

Before Kovalev is ever allowed to get comfortable doing anything, Ward will see it and interrupt with something unexpected. Over and over.

Once the opponent is frustrated and tired, Ward begins to open up the lead.

    It's what he does.

:rofl ain't that the truth. I like Ward but the guy literally fights all his fights with every possible advantage.
