Well Canelo should win the fight shouldn't he ?? He has NSAC & Vegas boxing officials to ensure he doesnt lose a decision. He thinks Kov is shot or he would never be in there
I'll rate Canelo the day he takes on a legitimate opponent AWAY from the Vegas corruption. We ALL know why he wont do that.
I hope Sergey Kovalev knocks his Ginger ass out COLD!!!

If Clenelo legitimately beats Kovalev, no Vegas corruption, I'll give him credit even though he will have EVERY advantage going in. If Kov beats him by knocking him out,as thats the only way he can win, will you give Sergey credit

I don't necessarily believe that Golovkin ducked Derevyachenko, but I will call out a Canelo hater or Golovkin nutswinger on double standards.

If GGG gets a pass for getting stripped of his IBF title because of "business decisions" then Canelo should get that same pass for his "business decisions."

You sound like a clown, per usual. Ward did straight clear 168, my friend.

I was wondering, should Kovalev come out strong and take it to Canelo early, Do like Hagler did against Hearns, see if he can take his best shots?

The way he neutralizes his opponent I do like and I don't find it unattractive to watch. I thought his moves in the Dawson fight were a thing of beauty, really enjoyed it despite him taking down my boy. His inside fighting particularly against Green when he put a beating on him with his head in Green's chest the whole night was a great display, in my opinion. The Kovalev fights were entertaining... Those are my top watches from him for me. Obviously he's not the most entertaining fighter as his fights rarely feature any drama (Ward is always in control and he doesn't cold-KO people).

PFP fighters usually are the favourite even when moving up in weight. The reason I don’t have Canelo rated highly at PFP is because he has controversial wins and even in victory they usually razor close.
How this translates to the bookies odds I’ve no idea?but I do know the bookies ain’t daft and might just well be thinking because of his chin he only has to be standing at the end?

My respect for him and Virgil hit the roof when he refused to be another KO victim to Kovalev. It was far from pretty but somehow he got himself back into a fight that looked gone.
Thing is I know how good he is and when he fights tune up opponents he boxes beautifully.Cant say I blame him but imo he sussed out a way to shut down first class dangerous opponents in big fights by rough housing, wrestling and using the clinch to score points. Its mighty effective but as Larry Marchent said it’s a very old fashioned un fan friendly way of fighting.
Put it this way I’m glad nobody else has the will or skill to fight this way as boxing would die a death.

I don't know man, he boxed beautifully with one hand and barely lost a round to Carl Froch.

He suffered in the financial department for it as opposed to being a rock 'em sock 'em type. But ultimately, eh. Sandy Saddler was dirty, Max Baer hold and hit, Calderon shoot and move, etc.

Sometimes I feel folks haven't watched Muhammad Ali fight. He clinched more than anybody. No way you can cite Ward so much and hold it against him yet not give Ali the same treatment and then some.

the bookies only set the initial odds, from there, the bets actually being made determine the odds. the bookies just balance them in order that the money bet on the eventual winner, will be equal to the money bet by the losers, according to the odds balance.
