Why would a small/average sized middleweight go to super middleweight? 164 is impossible for Ward because he is too d a m n big for the weight AND Golovkin
yeah right ,fight couldve been at 168. triple duck wouldve fought old semiretired froch or b level chavez jr.
Congrats on doing something you should have done 9 months before GGG even burst on the scene. People **** on Golovkin for waiting on guys smaller than him to fight him, yet Ward is free from that criticism, even though it's exactly what he's been doing. (Insert Chavez and Froch remarks, yada yada). I would still love to see the fight but I'm not going to lose sleep if it doesn't happen right now.
Ya, because people actually cared to watch those fights. Froch and Chavez have fans. Ward has a few family members and the BET audience that care about him, that's it. Also, Froch and Chavez are, at most, super middleweights. Ward is now too big for super middleweight. So, as Damian so nicely pointed out to you, how can someone duck a guy 2 divisions bigger? :nut
Why is that so hard for these GGG haters to understand? Instead, they'd rather prance around yelling bumluvkin this and bumluvkin that while making no sense whatsoever.
Andre Ward should of fought Lucian Bute after the Super Sh!t Tournament. During the buildup for the final he said that the winner should fight Bute. Froch also agreed. Bute was a top 168 fighter that was excluded from the tournament. But what happened? Ward went back on his word and Froch beat up Bute in stunning fashion. Another one of the many failures that Andre Ward brings upon himself.
Ward was taking a time out after the Super 6 much to the knowledge of everybody after beating Froch with a busted hand. Bute and his team targeted Froch thinking he was there for the taking after Ward made him look very beatable. They wanted Froch for two fights back to back. Ward said in interview that he didn't understand why team Bute would lock Lucian away in back to back fights when he and Ward was the big fight to be make. Butes team knew he was no match for Ward. They tried two milk to big pay days against Froch and it back fired . Bootay got Cobra'd and has never recovered
Bute called out Ward after he beat Froch and what did Ward do, told Bute he hadn't beaten anyone good and didn't deserve a shot at him and to go fight Froch. So Bute fought Froch to try and convince Ward he deserved a shot. I'm a Ward fan but that was an idiotic move on his part. Had he given Bute the belief a fight was on the cards and to just wait until his hand healed Bute would have likely not fought or fought an easier opponent than Froch. But instead Ward said he was going to take a break from fighting and Bute should fight Froch. What choice did Bute have, he wanted a big fight and had to sit on the sidelines as the Super 6 happened and was then told he couldn't even fight the winner.
