:roflatsch I have no doubt Ward insisted on Oakland. If he also refused 170 then his P4P status is a complete joke. Can't rank a guy P4P that refuses to make such a little concession like that. it is why I often mock P4P discussion on here it is a joke.
Ward is a *****, Dawson didnt need to take this fight he shoulda rematched Pascal and wait for Ward to clear out super middle, he must be really confident he can make 168 properly, i still dont see how Ward wins tho
Of course it's Ward we're talking about, we sure as hell won't talk about you. As previously stated and obvious, Ward is the winner of the super six tournament and is the man to call the shots, he earned that spot fighting in the ring. He sure as hell doesn't need to move up in weight to fight a desperate Dawson who's division lacks big names. Dawson wanted this fight he needs to go after it, simple as that. Ward doesn't need Dawson.
You need to have a passport to be Champion of the World. Ward is simply a very good fighter who needs all of the advantages. I dont think he beats Kessler in Denmark or Froch in the UK. He would be a very different fighter.
He would beat Kessler in Denmark because Kessler is a very good BASIC fighter, nothing difficult to predict for someone like Ward. I only see a few British fans supporting Kessler simply because he's the only name worth mentioning in Calzaghe's joke of a career. Froch in UK is a different story. In the UK Froch will be allowed to apply UFC, Kung-Fu and WWE rules while Ward will only be allowed boxing rules. Punches behind the back of Ward's head that will inevitably drop him are legitimate knockdowns and low blows are beautiful artistic body shots. If Ward and his team had ANY common sense he would stay as far away from England as possible. I don't think Ward would want his first loss to be in a crooked fixed location. That said and we're coming off a hilarious Olympics full of shameless daylight robberies.
:rofl Froch and Kessler barely scrapped rounds. The entire fight is different because of the location difference? Come now.
