I don't either. Ward probably gets cheated out of a points win like Dirrell did.

props to dawson for doing what it takes to make the fight but i'm not going to hate on ward for his demands. dawson clearly wanted the fight despite having other options. no one forced dawson to take the fight and its my understanding the fight was made relatively easily.

I don't think I understood you there. So you're saying because they both don't need it a catch-weight is no issue?

And be subjected to body slams, top rope suplex, pushing, holding whenever needed, low blows and headbutts if necessary and get cheers for it all.

    Look at Calzaghe vs Lacy.

Lacy looked invicible , then crosses the pond and is a totally different fighter.

Dont say it doesnt make a big difference.

Ward would have to use his fists to beat Kessler.

And do me a favour , the biggest robberies are all in the US . You make Germany looked like a neutral ground.

Lacy looked invincible? And this is coming from a huge Lacy fan.

Lacy never looked invincible, his defensive flaws were there but he did get quite a lot of hype for his exciting style. Any fighter with an exciting style will get far more hype than expected. He crossed the pond to unify when Calzaghe wanted none of unification as he defended the WBOgus paper title against one bum after another. Lacy had 21 professional fights while Calzaghe had 40 and it was Calzaghe's biggest fight to date. :rofl

Of course most robberies will be in the US because most fights ARE hosted in the US so controversy is to be expected. Though I wouldn't expect a drunken loser like yourself to see through that.

Compare the number of fights in the US with the UK and watch how many robberies are given.

So youre saying if Lacy had fought Calzage in Florida the result changes? Come on son.

Lacy struggled to beat Omar Sheika and beat a bunch of hasbeens beforr being exposed. Ward has dominated all opposition who were in their primes and still fighting at a high level. Come on son.

Thats it, when Hopkins fights he hugs more than the sisters do from the ShawShank Redemption.

Yet any other country and its a different sport.

Please , worst robberies are all in the US.

    The facts dont lie.

    All home town decisions.

Most fights are not in the US . Look at the numbers, big fights with a higher profile , maybe, but should that mean we see Lara vs Williams , or Devon Alexander getting decisions? and hey dont start insulting me personally , we dont need that on here.

There are robberies everywhere, this is standard in boxing, no nation gives outsiders a fair shake.

If Ward went up every lb would have made the victory better, non the less we get a great fight and Oakland is sensible as I might be wrong but I don't think either guy sells hugely, might as well be in the champs hometown.

Plus I don't believe Dawsons belts are on the line as Light Heavy is technically 168.1 to 175 lbs.

I met Lacy in Manchester two days before the fight and he looked scared. Not scared of Joe I believe , but scared of the situation . He had that look as if to say 'How did I agree to this , he looked all wrong'. This is why Ward doesnt travel.

Well the US is where the majority of the high profile fights take place, so I think that goes without saying, but Ward would still most likely get robbed of a decision across the pond.
