    Ward does look a top fighter but his lack of power will always be an issue.

    Ward would be in the fight for the first 8 rounds, but Calzaghes ATG stamina would kick in and outpoint Ward 116-112 or something like that.

    why is calzaghe so criminally underrated in the general forum?

    he was one of the best

    You have to have good boxing eyes to appreciate someone like Calzaghe and how special he was.

    When I first watched a few of his fights I was like "This guy can't even punch, you could walk through that" but the more you watch him...

    I mean, yes Manfredo shouldn't have been stopped there (I hate Terry O****ingConnor) but you need to realise why he's covering up like he's being shot at rather than just walking through those "pathetic punches". Calzaghe is actually hitting him, and he is actually hurting him, you just need to look REAL closely to see how.

    :-( Not many 168 fighters through history could beat Ward easily.
