Ward via clear and decisive decision. Ward has about every physical advantage over Canelo and he was the superior fighter that was a natural superior middleweight.
i dunno. Canelo is very offensively talented or was when he was at his peak. How much dirty fighting are we going to allow Ward? Canelo struggled a bit with movers but if we are talking peak Canelo (Saunders, Plant), then i see this as a 50-50 fight. Canelo had awesome offensive variety and Ward isn't RJJ on his feet. Take away Ward's excessive grabbing, head butting and low blows, i am picking the Ginger man to win a close decision and perhaps scoring a knockdown along the way.
Ward clearly on points in my opinion, his great Ring I.Q., elusive style and great timing would have been problems for Canelo that the Mexican would not have been able to overcome.
Andre Ward completely nullifies Canelo’s counter opportunities and outpoints him in one sided fashion.
