Wtf! You mean this guy is actually Andre Ward's next opponent?! When I saw the name Ward in your thread title, I automatically assumed you were talking about the British super-bantamweight Martin Ward, not actually Andre Ward. :rofl Who in god's name is Rohan Murdock? I have never heard of him nor never even heard his name mentioned in passing either. I bet his own family barely know who he is. :rofl
How do you not know him? :beat:beat He holds a prestigious WBO Asia-Pacific 168 title and had a close loss to ATG Sugar Steve Moxon http://boxrec.com/boxer/553637
Murdock's got a TBA opponent for November 21st. Maybe Ward is fighting this year after all. But he's so obscure these days, he's known as TBA now.
No, I got nothing. Never heard of him either, and when I first saw the thread title, I misread "Rohan" as "Rupert". Regardless, I'm just happy that Ward will be getting a 2nd fight in this year, because the alternative of not fighting at all would be worse. I imagine that, if this is true and this fight happens, that it will likely lead to a better fight first half of 2016 and a Kovalev showdown late 2016. :smoke
Man,these Oz "fighters" really enjoy getting the S*it knocked out of them.I can't recall the last time as Aussie fighter won a fight in the US.Ward has sunk even lower than usual for this one.atsch
Ward's still looking to Australia for an opponent. atsch Was the #2 ranked SMW in Australia Zac Dunn deemed too risky for the ''#2 on the world P4P ranking''? So they settled for the ''next best thing'' the #3 ranked SMW in Australia like they did for Paul Smith when they ''couldn't get Froch'':rofl And he's facing yet another SMW, that's back-to-back SMWs, for that year long period (at least a year) that he needs to ''settle into the weight'' before they even contemplate taking the likes of Kovalev on. :rofl
