Ward Violating S6 Rules Once Again With Officials

    People seem to forget that there was controversy before Ward-Kessler and Dirrell-AA. Neutral Ref is guarenteed in the S6 contracts everyone signed.

    . Stanley Christodoulou was already in place as the neutral referee. Mikael Hook replaces California's Steve English.

    Ward gets American ref, from his home state, although it's against the contracts.

    Sauerland Event, were upset over the selection of the officials for Saturday's fight with Andre Dirrell at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The Abraham side was upset over the possible selection of hometown judges, and a hometown referee, for the Dirrell fight.

    The referee for the fight will be Laurence Cole of the United States.

    Yet again Ward gets a american ref for the finals, cheating Americans.

    I thought there was only 1 American judge for Ward Froch .

    Smoger is probably the best ref in boxing. But I am sure the excuses will be coming soon.

    i haved asked in another thread,that IF the Final was boxed in england,with an english referee,would that be okay for the US fans??

    Most brits are uncomfortable at the fact that there is an American ref after the Khan fights so they expect controversy.

    I myself find Smoger a good official, i liked the way he reffed the cotto Margarito fight, Hopefully smoger will do what he usually does and let them fight so any prolonged clinches wont happen which takes wards gameplan out the window.

    if theres any controversey after the fight then ill be the first to say but at this moment i have no problem with the officials.

    Smoger is a good ref. so we won't see the same **** as in Oakland!

    Every fighter and promoter signed contacts which ensured that every fight would have a referee from a neutral country.

    Ward-Kessler had a American Ref
    AA-Dirrell had a American ref
    and now in the S6 finals Ward-Froch has a American Ref

    Care to explain why they've been allowed to violate the S6 contracts?

    it has nothing to do with Ward. The commission appoints a ref that is licensed by that commission, usually that ends up being a local ref.

    THis is a clear violation but I dont think anyone is worried about Smoger pulling a job. Maybe Froch's people signed off on it? I mean you know what your gonna get, best ref int he business

    :lol: right. It's in the contracts it isn't some suprise they couldn't account for. If Froch told them to go **** themselves and said he refused to fight unless they honoured the contracts i'm sure they miraculously be capable of finding a lisenced ref from a nautral country.
