I like how he asked her about Sullivan first and she went straight to talking about Ward-Kovalev for about 90% of the interview.

Seriously though, the Sullivan fight shouldn't be this complicated to negotiate.

But wouldn't suprise me if they had a handshake deal and before formals are sent and signed Duva is saying it's not done and they're gonna try and d rake some extra dough .....

what's "sad" exactly? Sullivan Barrera is obviously under the impression it's happening, otherwise he would be continually post #march26 on Twitter.

The fact that Kathy Duva doesn't want to make an announcement is not surprising at all. Neither has the other camp and she is sensitive to these issues. But somebody has told a the media that the fight is on, which is why the news came out a few days ago. An Barrera is carrying on like it's on. So it's very likely on.

So, again, what's "sad" about run-of-the-mill stuff like this?

Are you sad that Kathy Duva said the Ward-Kovelev fight is a done deal? I'm super depressed about that. I'm in tears.

The way things are going with Ward's negotiations for his mooted fight on March 26 (i.e, not very well), I could see Ward not managing to secure an opponent for Late March or Late July, and instead look to go straight to Kovalev in November or December 2016.

 

Idk why it's in place for 3/26 if it's not ready to be signed off on. Might be smart for ward to take a solid lhw first then barrera, then kovalev if he comes out on top.

I'm going to find some barrera footage, have yet to see this dude, I'm going off poster's on here assuming he's legit.

If he's legit, that might be better to take a real tuneup first.

 

Alright, I've finally had the time to check barrera out, this is a very dangerous fight for ward. Far and away the most skilled fighter ward would have ever fought ..

I don't know much about his true power or his chin at all, but if they are both good idk if wards taking this fight as his first true lhw.

Ward will have to be as good as he's ever been, even then, if wards a decent fav, I'll be dropping some doe on barrera

 

Why is this taking so long? The Kovalev fight was agreed to quickly...but a no name "bum" (according to many people's use of the word on this site) is taking MONTHS to get done? With the exact same promoters???? It doesn't add up.

 

Bored of this guff now.

Why are people blaming Ward? No one knows exactly what's going on. She just said it's not done, and like a good promoter, she didn't sling insults or point the finger.
