That would be a hell of a tough fight after a year off.

Good opponent for the first real 175lbs fight.

Yes, that is what makes me doubt after Ward's previous choices.

This fight is a joke, like all Wards fraudulent career. When did Floyd fought 2 bums in a raw to "adjust" to new weight class? When did Manny? When did BH? When any of the great fighters in the past took so many bum fights to "adjust" or "stay busy"? Andre Fraud is a donkey doo doo. Even Canelo went straight for the belt at 160, and Canelo is just as fraudulent as Ward

I agree that great fighters should not need multiple tune ups when they move to a new weight class or end lay off but Barrera happens to be Kovalev's mandatory, far from a bum. This is a pretty good fight to settle in a weight class.

But you probably never seen a full fight of Barrera before so never mind.

Neither Johnson nor Barrera are bums. I don't care what anyone else say, especially the haters.

this fight isn't happening too tough for a tune up for ward.history has shown ward is looking for someone easier he will probably drag up a 168 fighter.

Roc Nation cant pay Ward $3 million unless his opponent take $10K flat fee.

That's exactly the dymamic at play. Paying Ward is one thing, but the opponent needs to get paid too, and you've got to pony up for a good one.

This is done on purpose, Ward low***** a decent opponent, he refuses and Ward can claim he was 'ducked' and has to settle for a bum.
    Rinse and repeat! :-(

Artur is the only guy at 175lbs who has a chance of beating Ward. That's only if Artur turns the fight into a manhandling dirty mess and just clubs him out of there, similar to a Cloud and Page Jr style. Otherwise, I can't even tell you the amount of times we're going to see Beterbiev's head flick back that fight.

Artur has zero chance, as he is with Haymon and Ward is with Jay Z.
