Fought only once in two years against a fringe contender, and still has yet to get an opponent to fight him, Ward's stock is embarrassing right now. I'm pretty sure the people at HBO are ****ed off.

There is plenty of opponents for Ward to choose from besides Barrera that are good LHW contenders, I don't understand why Ward is so fickle.

Might need to change the title to "Ward vs Periban"

Periban is on a three fight win streak since going 0-3-1 in his previous 4, culminating in getting blown away in 6.5 minutes by James DeGale which was a fluke. :patsch

At 168 Ward has zero options. If he wanted action at 168 he might of well just signed with TMT aka Al Haymon and would get the chance to fight the Badou Jacks , James Degales , Lucian Bute and even the ever so famous Dirrell brothers whom Ward knows very well and even conspired together in the 04 Oylmpics and in the Super Six tournament.

Yes but they are too expensive for what was promised to Ward in contract. You know what Roc Nation is just going to have to reach into their pockets regardless if they lose money to get this Andre Ward fellow in a boxing ring or his tune up run will last thru 2017.
